On May 26th, 2025, the Anhui Province Wheat Harvesting and Loss Reduction Skills Competition was held in Huoqiu County, Lu'an City, marking the official entry of the Jianghuai region into the "Three Summers" period. The Zoomlion PL80 tracked harvester stood out in the competition with its excellent performance in reducing losses, helping athletes achieve excellent results. At the competition site, five PL80 tracked harvesters shuttled between the wheat waves, collecting large pieces of wheat into their "bags" and efficiently completing the harvesting operations in the designated area with high quality. Mr. Zhang from Datang Engineering Machinery observed on site that "the reduction effect is not only related to the operator's operating skills, but also to the harvester." Datang Engineering Machinery donated four of its excavators, loaders, and graders to participate in this event.
